Malicious attackers prompt AOL glitches. Are you seeing AOL's content -- or messages from aspiring hackers?

AOL subscribers weren't sure when two different AOL problems surfaced which were caused by attackers. Not only was AOL's "NetNoir" area replaced with a manifesto about AOL security written by "Spin, Hex, and TBB". An even more sacred target was defaced: the list of AOL's beloved chat rooms!

The AOL Watch newsletter unveiled preliminary reports of the attacks -- which, ironically, coincided with an attack on the web site for the New York Times.
